WeatherLea Farm
39595 Weatherlea Farm Lane
Lovettsville, VA 20180
540-822-5097
website

Summary
WeatherLea Farm occupies 28 acres of rolling hills in Lovettsville, VA. We are at the northern tip of Virginia — less than a mile from the Potomac River bridge to Brunswick, Maryland, and only six miles from the confluence of the Potomac and the Shenandoah rivers at Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia.

Since purchasing Weather Lea in 1992, Malcolm and Pamela Baldwin have planted perennial and kitchen gardens, apple and peach orchards and a small wine grape vineyard.  We work hard on our farm tending our vineyard and our flock of sheep and llamas, and hosting weddings and events as well as overnight guests. We are deeply involved in local efforts to preserve farmland and the historic and natural heritage of Loudoun County.

We are welcoming visitors for overnight stays at The Milk Cottage at WeatherLea Farm. Guests enjoy visiting our wine grape vineyard (sometimes helping with the harvest if their visit coincides) and seeing our flock of llamas and sheep, including spring lambs. Apples, peaches and raspberries can also be picked in season. Viognier and Cabernet Franc wines made from WeatherLea grapes are available locally, and wool products from our sheep are available for purchase on the farm. The Milk Cottage at WeatherLea Farm is an ideal spot for a unique farmstay experience!
