FESTA RAPPAHANNOCK 2010 - July 31 & August 1 - The Rappahannock Family of Wineries is celebrating the launch of our wine trail at Rappahannock Cellars with a “coming out” party, FESTA RAPPAHANNOCK, on Saturday, July 31, and Sunday, August 1, from 11 am to 5 pm. Proceeds will help benefit Hospice of the Rapidan. The event is a celebration of Viognier, Cabernet Franc and local “slow” food. It will feature local wines, meats and produce along with live musical entertainment.

This is a celebration of Viognier and Cabernet Franc and "slow" local food featuring locally raised meats and local produce creatively prepared by the chefs of Marriott Ranch. Live music. For two days only, the Albemarle-Charlottesville Pilot Club will be making and selling homemade peach ice cream (made with our peaches, of course!) right here at Chiles Peach Orchard. This is a major fund-raiser for the Pilot Club, and is one of our more popular weekends here at the orchard (for customers and employees alike!). Come early, as this event has been known to sell out.
