Advertising Director to oversee and sell print and website advertising, train and manage junior sales representatives, and conceive and execute new advertising strategies for a successful regional food and wine magazine that covers the farmers, vintners, and food artisans between the Blue Ridge and the Chesapeake, and the chefs and restaurants who support them.
The ideal candidate will have excellent cold calling skills, impeccable follow up, and will maintain strong and affable working relationships with existing advertisers. The sales territory includes all of DC, MD & most of VA, with some national accounts. Compensation includes base salary and commission.
